For more than 100 years, Scouting has been a youth training organisation delivering “fun with a purpose”.
We could start by telling you that although most people, including the parents of many Scouts, believe that Scouting is just a fun and adventurous activities group for their kids, that is actually only a very positive side effect of what is
- the world’s largest informal education organisation active in all but 5 countries and with over 50,000,000 youth members;
- A program that can span 20 years as a youth member, and for some the rest of their lives as leaders;
- a purposely designed combination of 5 sections (separated to keep the program relevant for progressive age groups)
